Spring time is always fun it signifies renewal, bright colors, light clothing and cute hair! The weather during spring time is still kind of unpredictable, ranging from cold to sometimes very hot the goal is to have hairstyles that are versatile enough to withstand whatever the weather is doing that day. Here are a few styles for long and medium length weaves that are great for spring and cute too!
Long braids:
Braids are awesome there are tons of ways to wear them and they are a great way to protect the hair by clumping the pieces together.
Fish Tail Braid: Rihanna did it best when she rocked the braid with a light colored top to show off her colored hues. If you want to learn how to fish braid hop on YouTube, there are many tutorials that describe how to achieve the braid and with a little practice capturing the look will be very easy. The fish tail braid is great for a lazy day but can be styled to look very elegant for more formal occasions.
The Katniss Braid – Popularized by the new movie ‘The Hunger Games’ the Katniss Braid is a sexier version of a regular braid French braid as it starts from the middle of the head and the braid is done diagonally towards the shoulder you would like the braid to fall on. Again the Katniss braid can be found on You Tube and is wonderful for those not so warm days.
The French Braid – This style is old classic that has withstood the test of time, it is elegant and keeps the hair out of your face when you need an easy style with none of the fuss.
Braids and Curls:
When wearing a curly weave sometimes adding a braid within the curls can break up the monotony of the curls and add something light and fun to a hair full of messy curls. The braid doesn’t have to be big something skinny, French or bohemian can really set your weave off and is perfect for a pretty spring day. Don’t forget to accessorize your braid with flowers and fun clips just to keep things interesting and fun.
Keep everything Messy:
Rock a messy bun: Messy buns are not only trendy but super easy to achieve because it is not meant to be neat or well put together. Sweep the hair up using a goodie hair band pulling it through once, then twice and on the third time stop short before pulling all the hair through the band. The bun can be worn to the side as a side bun or as a high bun centered squarely on top of the head or as a low bun in the center of the head. Either way as long as it’s messy it mimics an easy breezy spring afternoon.
Messy Pony Braid: Messy braids are popular and trendy and if you have long straight colored Indian hair extensions this look will definitely give you a look that is not typical of the sleekness of the hair. Put your hair in a pony tail using a hair band, and braid the pony tail portion with no regard for the neatness of the braid. The braid should be semi frizzy wider in some parts and tighter in some areas, the style may seem a little iffy but has been a hit on the red carpet. The style is sassy and light perfect for a sunny spring day.
