This summer is full of color and fab hair color trends. Whether you just want a slight update or an entirely new look, we’ve got you covered! We’ve got our inspiration from – who else? – celebs and come up with this list for your eyes only! Enjoy!
1. Dip-dye – You may see light pinks blend with blonde hair (see famous country singer Miranda Lambert at the CMAs last year), splashes of soft baby blue on dark bangs (see Keke Palmer) and everything in between. No matter what yo choose, you will play with a bit of color to make a loud statement without having to go full on rainbow hair. Just pick colors that complement your skin tone!
2. Rainbow Bangs – For a more jolt of color, rainbow bangs are perfect. Mix yellow, orange, and pink to cause traffic confusion (see Amber Le Bon) and impress at a special occasion. If you are a blonde and feel bold, why not dip your platinum strands in black and purple for a change (see Gwen Stefani)?
3. Ronze – Besides bronde for blondes (below), redheads also have a hair color trend that complements them perfectly. Ronze (mixture of bronze brown and copper red) looks great on all skin complexions, as long as you trust your stylist will come up with the best version. For example, if you have a dark complexion (see Rihanna), you can try a blue-based version of ronze while natural brunettes, such as Eva Longoria, can have warmer amber tones to make their skin glow!
4. Babylights – This is a technique where the hair is applied super fine strands of color with a plastic wrap or meche and give the base color a significant yet natural boost. Celebs like Allison Williams and Rosamund Pike, have introduced dimension and highlights into their hair with this more gradual and smoother change compared to ombre. Particularly beautiful on blondes, although they look amazing in any shade!
5. Bronde – Bronde is the perfect hair color trend for blondes that want to darken their hair without going too dark or give up being a blonde just yet. It started with Blake Lively, who amazed the crowds with her newly dyed tresses last summer and it a trend that’s definitely carrying on strong a year after that! If you also want to brighten up your look and add a little edge to brown hair, bronde is for you, too!
6. Platinum Blonde – A get-noticed and selfie-begging hair color trend for sure. For examples, see Kate Hudson’s almost icy hair, Jennifer Lawrence’s highlighted hair with the bolder shape, and Katherine Heigl’s gorgeous violet-hued platinum locks!
7. Opal Hair – Much similar to rainbow hair, opal hair is a lovely mixture of pearl and light greens, purples, blues or pinks (see Raven-Symone). It’s a bold hairstyle for the ladies that wish for an added pop of color!
8. Gray Hair – Famous women like Diane Keaton and Stacy London have decided to embrace their natural shades and wow, they look fab!
9. Balayage Highlights – Although it’s not a new hair color trend, the sun-kissed highlighting technique is making a resurgence. And why shouldn’t it? It gives us more time before we have to revisit our salon to have our hair dyed! It’s a treatment that makes hair look longer and doesn’t require meche or foil to create! Plus, the way it blends your dark roots into the light blonde gives a more natural result that many women desire!
And, if you want to avoid the trouble of dying your own hair and causing damage to your natural hair, Remy hair extensions (we recommend Indian virgin hair extensions for their prime quality and versatility) will help you create any look and hairstyle you wish with little effort! Do you think it is by chance that most A-lists and stylists choose to use Indian Remy hair for their inspirational creations?
Certainly not!!!
