Note: For this style if you currently have short hair, assume prior to doing these steps that your hair extensions are already installed. However, if you have shoulder length hair, it can easily be pulled into a pony tail where you can later apply your extension hair to the top using a hair elastic.
- The first step to making the bow hairstyle is to ensure that your hair is clean and moisturized. After drying your hair, apply a coating of a heat-protective hair product before straightening. Of course, no coating is required if you’re using straight synthetic hair because heat cannot be applied to synthetic extensions. However, if you’re using 100% human hair extensions, doing this step will improve your chances of getting a silky smooth look, while protecting your hair from damage.
